family history for the Rough (rhymes with plow) line.
John Rauch (Rough) was born about 1773 in Pennsylvania. There, about 1795, John
married Margaret Walmer. Together they had seven children;
John R., Jacob, Henry, David R., George G., Catherina & Arndt. Several of these
Rough children migrated to Michigan in the mid-1800's.
